Information you choose to share

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include. If account features are opened later, FreshMeet may hold the account and profile details you choose to provide. Current profiles are text only and profile image uploads are disabled.

Interactive tools

Reality Check and Red Flag or Just Annoying run in your browser. Your answers are not sent to FreshMeet or permanently stored by those tools.

Basic site information

Our web host and WordPress may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, security events and necessary cookies. This helps deliver, protect and maintain the site.

How information is used

We use information to operate FreshMeet, reply to messages, secure the site, understand basic performance and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Hosting, email, security, caching and analytics providers may process limited information for us. We aim to keep this group small and give providers only what is needed for their work.

Retention and choices

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, security, records or legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@freshmeet.com. Some records may need to be retained when the law or site security requires it.

Age and changes

FreshMeet is intended for adults who are at least 18. We may update this notice as the site grows. The effective date will show when it changed.
